In a tweet on Friday, Kanaani said that “there was no doubt the US is the creator of ISIS.”
He went on to say that “But for those who deliberately closed their eyes to the truth, the statement of Robert F. Kennedy, the nephew of John F. Kennedy saying “WE created ISIS” reaffirms the fact that the American regime is the godfather of Daesh/ISIS.
Earlier on March 25, 2023, Kanaani rejected the US claims that its military presence in Syria is aimed at fighting the Daesh terror group, saying that the US itself has played a key role in creating Daesh.
